ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The International Journal of Creativity & Problem Solving (IJCPS, ISSN 1598-723X) has been formerly entitled ‘The Korean Journal of Thinking & Problem Solving’ and changed to the present title from volume 19(1) of 2009.


IJCPS is published biyearly in April and October by The Korean Association for Thinking Development (KATD).


THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CREATIVITY & PROBLEM SOLVING publishes original empirical and theoretical work on human higher-order cognition, with a particular emphasis on creativity. Whilst the primary focus of the Journal is on empirical/experimental research, the journal will also consider reviews that analyze, critique, or synthesize existing literature or papers that express new theoretical ideas. The journal will emphasize a wide variety of topic areas, such as critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making, as well as all facets of creativity. New methods or advances in creativity assessment are of particular interest, and we strongly encourage submissions from those in psychology, education, and business. We expect empirical papers to have a solid statistical foundation.
